Vanpool Voucher Day

Today was vanpool voucher pick up day, and since I didn't have my car to drive, I used the electric car. I stopped by Kevin's work so that I could give him a ride, and off we went to get our vouchers. Look at his facial expression. Can you tell he liked the ride?

Once inside the building, we had to wait in line. I am glad the line wasn't too long.

While we waited, Kevin took a picture of me waiting patiently in line.

  2. That's neat that you use an EV, and carpool, to go collect your vanpool vouchers. Judging by the number of military personnel in the line I'd assume you are a DoD civilian participating in the military's Mass Transportation Benefit Program (MTBP). Who is your vanpool provider? VPSI has over 650 vanpools in service at 72 militarly installations nationwide. If you aren't vanpooling with VPSI you are missing out on the best safety and customer service focus in the industry. Please visit www.militaryvanpool.com to see if we have vans at your military installation.

    Kind regards, Mike Norvell, VPSI

  3. Thanks, Darla. You are too kind...no secret at all. I just keep active & try not to post pictures without makeup. lol

It would be nice to talk to you. I love reading your blogs & learning about your family. You guys are so creative & talented. I'll have to send you my number through FB so that we can chat one day.

  4. Mike,

We actually do use VPSI on our installation. I really love the whole vanpool idea; it really is great! I mean, what more could we (DoD Civilians) ask for? I save on gas, the wear & tear of my car(and my hubsband's truck), it's free, AND the van we ride in is only several months old.
I love the comfort, convenience, and the idea of not having to drive in Atlanta’s traffic. I am so comfortable in the van that I even take a nap on my way to work each morning. Love it, love it, love it!!
