Megan had lots and lots of homework tonight, and I felt so badly for her. She has been reading Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities and has not only been busy with that but with her other assignments as well. I wanted to help her, so she sat in the kitchen while I read a section of her book aloud. Poor child! She doesn't seem to get a break. Tonight, she mentioned that she was glad that cross country was over with because she didn't know how she could have done her homework. She, along with the rest of us, can't wait for Thanksgiving Break to come!

A Tale of Two Cities
Megan had lots and lots of homework tonight, and I felt so badly for her.
