Several of us from our office attended the National Prayer breakfast that Fort McPherson hosted, since it was National Day of Prayer.

Of course we prayed for our Nation, the men & women serving in our Armed Forces, our Government, leaders, our families, churches, businesses, and just about everything else.

It was a great event, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was like having church & breakfast all at the same time. (The picture above was my breakfast.)

We each had a pamphlet at our tables, and there I saw a paragraph that read, "How to P.R.A.Y." which I liked. Here's what each letter stands for:
P - "Praise" Thank God for what He has already accomplished through Jesus.
R - "Repent" Confess your sins and shortcomings. Repent personally and on behalf of our nation. The Lord is quick to forgive when we come to Him.
A - "Ask" Ask God to reveal truth, turn our hearts back to Him, and bring healing.
Y - "Yield" Yield to the Lord and recognize He has heard our prayers and will answer according to His will. He is waiting to provide guidance and direction!
